New family homes for upgraders in South East Queensland

For families moving up: more bedrooms, more living space, and the schools and commute that come with the address. These homes are ranked by our upgrader agent on size, layout and location, and the timing of each build is shown on its page.

Questions buyers ask

Should I sell my current home before buying a new one?

With an off-the-plan or house-and-land purchase you usually settle when the build finishes, which can give you time to sell. Line the dates up with your lender before you sign, so you are not carrying two loans for long.

How do I check school catchments for a new estate?

Queensland state school catchments are published on the Department of Education's EdMap. New estates sometimes sit near a catchment boundary, so check the exact address.

What is the difference between off-the-plan and a new build?

Off-the-plan means you buy before the home is finished, usually at today's price with settlement on completion. A new build that is already finished can be inspected and settled sooner.
